The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States applauded President Donald Trump’s decision to suspend tariffs one day after some Canadian provinces started pulling U.S. liquor, including Jack Daniel’s, from shelves.
Lawson Whiting, CEO of Brown-Forman, which makes Jack Daniel’s, called the move “frustrating” during an earnings call Wednesday.
“That’s worse than a tariff because it’s literally taking your sales away,” Whiting said.
ReplyDeleteAm I missing something? The tariffs won't last forever. In the short term, how does Canadian pulling his product from shelves affect his sales? What did he do, set up to sell the product on commission in Canada?
I have never had any Canadian whiskey that I thought was worth a fuck...
ReplyDeleteThat said Jack Daniels is run by lefty cum suckers so I don't give a damn what they say either..

To me, Canadian whiskey is so smooth it's tasteless. When you mix it, all you can taste is the mixer.
