The Trump administration has created a registry for illegal migrants to submit their personal information or else face penalties such as fines or prison time.
Illegal migrants 14 years or older living in the United States must register and provide fingerprints on a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) account, according to an announcement from the agency Tuesday. The registration applies to illegal migrants who have not previously interacted with the government, such as those who’ve applied for asylum or properly entered the country through a port of entry.

Yes, I know it sounds stupid, but remember, there are people that will line up to register their guns when their States enact 'assault weapon' bans.
Back to the 60's and 70's late-night TV announcements reminding aliens that they need to register their location with the government - I think it was annually, but I'm getting old and don't remember the details. Seems appropriate, legal, and apparently with precedent. Not a fan of Trump's personality, but his methods and actions sure seem to be working us toward what I want.
ReplyDeleteI remember every January in the 1960s era a commercial would play reminding (legal) aliens that they had until 1/31 to register their current info with the Feds.
ReplyDeleteFailure to keep the Feds informed was a crime.
It is not remarkable that we should bring this requirement back.
They are not Citizens. We can hold them to a different standard.
No just those idiots but the ones that bring drugs to the police station to get free testing on purity....

Why not? The ATF has an illegal registry of law-abiding gun owners.
ReplyDeletePlay Santana "They all went to Mexico"
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a picture of President Trump and Holman, wearing sombreros, and swinging at a pinata shaped like a donkey...but we know it's not full of candy.....
ReplyDeletePlus this makes (more) criminals of non-registrants and provides additional grounds for deportation.
