I knew an old timer that did that exact job. He told me that after the stumps were pulled, they were loaded into a dump truck and transported to Hercules Powder Company to make smokeless propellant’s.

Had a friend (RIP, Tony) who was a nationally ranked observed trials rider (as well as his sons) who could do things like that without blinking. The “hard” stuff he could do would scare a mountain goat. His boys also toured in Balls of Steel where three or four of them would ride around inside a steel cage sphere. SmileyFtW
