That smokestack is maybe 100+ years old. These were hand laid from the inside working up. There was a special curved brick with holes for mortar retention.
Curved brick? Yep without question.”holes for mortar retention?” Bullshit. Cored brick are employed for reducing material per brick, reducing shipping weight, and-due to lighter weight- reducing fatigue while laying.
ok anon 9:27. look at the picture of the brick from the Akron, OH smokestack. It was taken down 2017, and they sold the brick as keepsakes. when you see the brick has holes, you can return and say you were wrong.
A link to the picture of the brick would be nice because we've all got better things to do than spend time looking for a picture of a particular brick.
#8: Some people are so starved for attention they'll resort to drastic methods, however I can think of better ways to garner the public's clapping than that.
#6: that's why paying for bike paths is a waste of money. The f*kers won't use them if there's a good road they can mess with traffic nearby. Make them get license plates to use the roads.
