The forklift operator probably didn't want the liability of picking up the load from under the pallet jack, and told the delivery drivers they had to get it out of the way. Looks like he made the correct decision.
They were pulling the pallet close enough to the door so the lift could get a full purchase under it. The front wheel of the pallet jack went a little too far and tilted the pallet towards them, dumping the load.
It LOOKS like the car that passed the truck suddenly stopped in front of it. I am GUESSING that there is a railroad crossing there from what I can see. Perhaps that's the reason it stopped. The truck driver swerved to avoid the stopped car. No time to worry about what's behind him.
That's a wheel loader going in reverse. I don't know if they have separate controls to do that or not. I thought he was swinging wide to go it the drive past the building.
#10 It looks like either the wheel on the right side of the trailer got hung up on a piling or that wheel got caught on the end of the ramp because the had backed up a little too far. I've seen both happen at the docks in our town...more than once.

8 literally has a forklift sitting unused on the left hand side.
ReplyDeleteI would guess that their combined IQ's are less than the alcohol content of that beer-
DeleteLooks like foreigners...so I'm guessing that maybe they didn't have a license to drive the fork lift.

DeleteDoesn't matter the subject, it's always nice to listen to an expert explain things.
DeleteNot an expert, but I have loaded and unloaded a trailer or two.
DeleteAnybody can see the video and see that's what happened.
Deletenot a bad accident, plenty of survivors...
DeleteNo Shit. Probably why they were pulling out the pallet jack Einstein.
Delete#8 what a couple morones!
ReplyDeleteYeah. Morons. What did they EXPECT would happen? What other outcome was possible?
DeleteLooks like about 70 cases x 24 = 1,680 reasons to fire these knuckleheads!
Delete#1 Car appears on the right in the last couple seconds. Was that the cause?

DeleteIf I had been the loader driver, I would have simply run over the f*cking car.
