Two strange phenomena now characterize the political landscape.
One, opposition to the Trump administration’s initiatives has reached a near-unprecedented fever pitch.
The frenzy is manifested in strange ways. At the bottom end, there is an epidemic of street terrorism, including the keying of Teslas, bullying their owners, firebombing dealerships, or vandalizing charging stations.

Human nature says most people resist radical change which they perceive will negatively impact the bread & circus enjoyment in their lives. Their reactions to the Trump agenda change will be emotional and they’ll want the threat ended immediately. The progressives are smart. They use their propaganda arm, the MSM to stampede the public into anti-Trump frenzies and the Liberal judicial system to hobble Trump’s agenda from another direction.
ReplyDeleteNo one voted for Musk. Who voted for Harris to run?
ReplyDeleteNobody voted directly for any agency head or appointed bureaucrat.
DeleteBut, of course, it's only wrong when evil conservatives appoint agency heads or bureaucrats.
I was commenting on the sign held by a protester at the beginning of this article.
DeleteThere has been more stories with headlines "Trump ...." which then go on to nothing involving Trump.
ReplyDeleteThe hand wringing over Tariffs! but where did the tariff actually effect you, especially when it was recalled before applied? Then there is the dirt bags "We charged you more because it is coming"
What are the odds Trump breaks China? They're not going to bomb the sh*t out of us, though trying to invade might be a consideration? A gun behind every blade of grass, and who will be your consumer if you bomb your best marketplace?
While it makes it tough for the energy producers, is this the first time people have bemoaned $50 oil?
I'm just waiting for falling interest rates.
Cheers to the people who didn't freak out about the stock market, and maybe had some cash to buy the dip. Sympathy for those whos money managers sold into the loss against their wishes.

I can tell you a couple places where tariffs have affected me.
Delete1 My retirement account has taken a hit equivalent to 3-5 years worth of savings
2 Tha constant tariffs on-off again has made it impossible for me to plan for my business and for my clients to decide if they want/need to buy from me. Because we don't have a consistent policy every change makes it harder for people to plan.
At this point I would rather Trump announce and applied a tariff of X% and move on. At least that way I could plan and move on with my life!
I find it interesting that lefties here in the UK are obsessed with Trump. Because he has become a somewhat larger than life, controversial figure they are suddenly paying huge attention to US domestic policies. Had G.W.Bush been imposing tariffs on imports and taking a hatchet to out of control government spending, no-one over here would have been the slightest bit interested. Because it is Trump doing it it's the end of the world as we know it. Isn't the guy in charge in Argentina pursuing a small government agenda at the moment? British lefties don't seem to have noticed.
ReplyDeleteStonyground.
I do enjoy all the libturd heads exploding over President Trump and our America First Agenda....
ReplyDeleteIt's worth the price of administration
Oh and I'm still not tired of winning.... more please

That is one hell of an article! VDH along with Thomas Sowell are two men that should be listened to and read as often as possible. Common sense in a sea of ridiculous, bullshit chaos. Thanks for that post, Ken!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't even reached 100 days yet and the country is already leaps and bounds ahead of where sleepy-joe left it.
ReplyDeleteThere will be a little pain, and the little people will take it up the ass. If he would quit the fucking around with the uncertainty of what he will do from day to Truth Social post at night we might begin to see the light of day.
DeleteUncertainty is a necessary feature of the Trump strategy. Our trading partners desire it as well. How can they get it? ...come to Trump with that in hand and negotiate better trade terms for the USA. Be just a little bit patient. Buy what you need when tariffs are low like the next 90 days to stock up on necessary goods and services.
DeleteDemocrats have had 4 years of doing whatever they want. Shop lifting, election fraud, pedoing, etc. Why would they think they would be held accountable for keying a tesla. It is going to be mind blowing for them if they end up in jail like they should.
ReplyDeleteHis uncertainty is grinding away at 401k accounts and we are supposed to embrace it, fuck no!
ReplyDeleteYour 401k account balance doesn't matter until you retire. Stocks will rebound. They always have. If the economy truly crashes (doubtful), everyone will have bigger worries than their eventual retirement.
ReplyDeleteHush, Richard D. You're making too much sense.
DeleteI am retired Richard D. and it sure as fuck does matter!
Delete@Anonymous You didn't put your 401K into cash holdings prior to retirement? Wow. Your financial advisor wasn't doing you a single favor...
