I used to do long haul bicycle rides thru rual areas. We used the bicycle pumps clipped to the underside of the horizontal bar - not for pumping up tires, but to beat the dogs chasing us with!
#10 looks like they had something holding the brake pedal down and it popped free - you can see it. That had to be painful, nice old classic like that.
That guy in #8 isn't just going to get up and walk that one off. The way he landed he's going to, at a minimum, have a bunch of shoulder and rib issues to deal with. I backed out of trailer like that once, no cement dock, but the ground quickly reestablished my understanding of Newton's law of universal gravitation.

ReplyDeleteDon't agree. Hope he sues the dog owners for all they've got. Maybe next time the guy on the bike will have a gun.

DeleteHad problems like this when I lived in Samoa. Carrying a machete on the bike fixed the problem...permanently.
DeleteSearch for "velo-dog" and see what you get.

I'm always impressed with how narcissistic bicycle riders are.

ReplyDeleteDon't sweat it. #3 is in a face mask and #4 in a helmet so, who knows, it might be your ex.

ReplyDeleteNext door neighbor pulled a number 10 with his 66 GTO a couple months back, but it was a tree that took out the drivers door. $25k and climbing.
