Manners count

A 46-year-old woman was arrested at a Florida airport on Memorial Day for allegedly beating a child because the boy called her “fat” and repeatedly said she “could not fit in her seat” on the airplane.

  2. Yea, she is kinda bloated but in my humble opinion not un-bangable. However, I put the blame right on the parents of the undisciplined brat. BTW, the paper posted photos of a white Miss Piggy, but none of the prents or kid. I wonder what shade the little turd is.

    1. The brat, and mom, are probably both Amish. Mom was prob sitting there laughing.

Lady should have beat both of their asses.

I sure miss the old days here in Texas when simple assault was a slap on the wrist. Hell back in the day a bar fight was nothing. The cops would make you shake hands, say you're sorry, and nobody would be arrested. The cops were pretty cool back then.

Sometimes it's worth going to jail when somebody deserves a beating. Been there done that. Just make sure it's a really good beating though since the charges usually aren't much worse. And yes it was worth it.

    2. If they had traveled to Disney together, as stated in the article, odds are pretty good that it was her kid, or at the least, a very close relative.

    3. That's pretty much what I figured, snuffy. It doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4.

  4. No mention on the age of the " child " so this could
be a story of an abusive fat lady and a young child as easily as a 17 y/o teenage brat...

  5. The story doesn't say whether or not she is actually fat. Enquiring minds want to know.

    1. Bryce, I saw a video of her in the slammer. Her BMI is kinda high but as I said in my comment I'd ball her in a heart beat.

  8. It's impossible to read that story without Bart SImpson coming to mind.

  9. Ha. A few years ago when one of my nieces was about 5 years old, and hadn't quite developed a working filter yet for "socially acceptable" discourse, I arrived at my sister and BIL's house one day to work on a repair there. I should point out here that at this point in time I was about 30 pounds overweight, and had a noticeable belly going. When I walked in, my niece looked at me, and proclaimed "you're fat". My sister was mortified, and scolded her for the remark. I just laughed my ass off, it was one of those random things little kids say, and she wasn't factually wrong, so there was no point in getting indignant about it. Now, I guess it might have had a different reaction from someone other than a good natured uncle, but I found it thoroughly amusing.

  10. I was in 4th grade when I yelled at a neighbor that he was 'pathetically fat'.
Mom had first dibs. Then Dad came home and I was drawn and quartered a second time. Then I was force marched to go over and apologize to the man. Also, I was told to tell the man to grade my apology, that I was to report back to Dad if the neighbor thought my apology substandard in any way.
Then I was to do work around his house for one week for free.

Sixty years later I remember it like it was this morning. Yes, the lesson took.

    1. Amazing what one can remember from 4th grade yet not remember eating breakfast this morning

  11. She wasn't forceful enough in her discipline. One good smack across his face and that kid would have settled down for the rest of the trip

  12. After all that detail they don't tell us if they're related or strangers, or if she was so fat she couldn't fit in the seat.
