Given the life span of Parrotts and similar exotic birds, I think the entertainment value would pretty quickly exhaust itself. Then you are stuck with the burden of a fowl (ha) mouth that cannot be reasoned with or disciplined into better behavior for decades to come. Maybe it can be retrained, but if not, do you really want that in your house 24/7 for an untold number of years? Once it ceased being funny, I think it'd get old real quick. It's a serious commitment for whoever decides to adopt him.
