No tax on tips doesn’t affect me personally but as a matter of principle how many times does that dollar get taxed as it changes hands? Answer is too many. I’m 65 and I work 55-65 hours a week, no tax on overtime would help me out a lot. I’m thankful to only have one job and overtime laws apply. My pay supports a family of five. No tax on S. S. Will be nice as well if I get to retire before I die. Remember that old marching song we used to sing about being paid 100$ and giving back 99? Thank you Wirecutter for calling out B. S. Like you did
