That would be a capital offense in Hawaii

A Sam’s Club outlet had to destroy more than $10,500 worth of Spam and Vienna sausages after a 70-year-old man urinated on two pallets of the canned goods, Florida police allege.

  1. O.K., if he just pissed on the pallets I would still eat that Spam. I love Spam. All you have to do is give it a little rinse under the sink faucet. People throw away too much perfectly good food. The Vienna sausages . . . not so much. They're gross.

  2. Maybe he didn't care for Vienna sausages and really disliked Spam.

    1. That was my thought too. I worked a small grocery store and in-between shifts we'd practice killing rats in the back. Manager told us whenever getting stuff out the back to brush all the rat-dropping off the top crate first, but the bottom crates were A-OK to take out and stock shelves without cleaning. I pretty much always wash my cans before opening any canned goods.

  5. The pisser in question isn't native Floridian. He moved to Florida from New York.

  6. Before condemning his actions consider, maybe the guy's wife filed for divorce citing in the court records his dick was the size of a Vienna sausage and smelled like overcooked Spam.

  7. The canned goods were "ruined" so that Mr Yankee Pissah spends some real time in jail and/or fines.

  8. Look for some good Spam & sausage bargains on ebay or at the local Orlando flea market- unless there was a lock on the dumpster, then disregard-

  9. You are dead on right about Hawaii, a friend that worked for Hormel said they could sell 100% of Spam product there and never meet the demand.

    1. When I worked at Safeway's warehouse, we serviced Hawaii stores and would send entire shipping containers filled with nothing but Spam.

  11. He's too young to have been traumatized by eating that stuff in WWII. Dad would make a face if either item was mentioned. After becoming an adult and eating them for the first time, I would have gone hungry after several meals in a row that had either product in them.
