  1. I'm not sure what #10 is all about, but I can't remember laughing at so many. Very good selection.

    1. Jay is worth more than all of us (combined) used that story after showing up looking like that. What was he doing at a Hampton? Who knows? Move on, nothing to see here. There were several theories.

    2. Must've run into the same guy Elon Musk did....

  2. #13: My wife does EXACTLY that. Never mind the fact that I put around 25K miles on my car per year, while commuting, without her, and have YET to hit anything. She, on the other hand, puts around 5K miles on her car per year, and has banged into other cars TWICE in the last two years...

    1. My wife now has three options, in increasing severity- sorry Honey!
      1) Ride quietly in the back seat
      2) Trunk
      3) Roof rack

    2. My solution was: OK, you drive. Don't like that? Keep your mouth shut, at least most of the time.

We still trade off driving about 50/50 after 25 years. Thing is that she gets distracted talking when she drives, and actually NEEDS the person in the drivers seat to keep an eye out and say something. Different strokes, I guess.

I honestly don't care, I'm perfectly happy to sit in the passenger seat and read a book. She'd rather talk, of course, so she's not always fond of that option. I figure it's fine, the car has a roll cage, we'll live. She doesn't like that either, but I'm relaxed.

I have more accidents over the last 25 years than she does, but I figure it's only been 7 years or so since I ended up in a wheelchair and she had to step up as the primary breadwinner, and that she's been clocking thousands of miles. So I figure she'll catch up eventually.

    1. Me too. I can't believe it's been well over ten years since I first found Knuckledraggin.

May God bless that farting asshole dog Jack and his belly rubber.

    2. Yeah, it's been better than 10 years, hasn't it? Probably closer to 12.

    3. Yep. I've been with you since before the good ol' days when you were stepping in CGD's strategically placed bowel movements after you first headed east. Good times, all.

    4. I still check under the driver's door out of habit.

    5. CGD- He really was the best, wasn't he?

All due respect to that asshole dog Jack. Lovable asshole that he is.

    6. I still think of Charlie and Legal Lucy every morning when I pass the spot where I put some of their ashes.
He was a great dog, no doubt. And as much as I hate to admit it, that asshole dog Jack is too but different if you know what I mean.

    7. Been a long time follower. Moved to TN. Some time later at the local wally world, I drove past a truck with the blog title emblazoned on the rear window. I ambushed him on his way to the truck. One of the nicest guys I have ever met. What a treat! I know I have told this story before, bit it still is cool (to me).

  4. #1 Seems like we will be going into Iran to fix that quite soon. I don't remember voting for that though...

    1. Personally, I'm fucking fed up with a regime that spews hatered for 50 years non-stop...if I were president back in 79 there would be no uranium in iran except for what I dropped on them then.

    2. 45 Years ago Peanuts had a responsibility to end that shit and all he did was take a pass. Fucked up what should have been a simple rescue but over complicated it so we could see dead US soldiers dragged thru foreign streets.

    3. Trump said he wants to be known as a peacemaker - someone who ends wars.
Iran declared war on the US in 1979. It's time to end it.

    4. CIA overthrew a democratically elected Iranian government in 1953 and installed the Shah, just because they were next to the USSR. Is it any wonder that they hate us?
Russia today isn't the same as the USSR was. That alone is an improvement.
I have to laugh every time some clown says something about preserving democracy!

    5. 1979 was 46 years ago. I don't really care what Iran thinks of America. Let them yell all they want. Lions don't have to be concerned with mice opinions.
Bomb Iran and we will get our selves another Irak. It will cost us billions if not trillions and thousands of lives. It will take us decades to get out of the mess. Not to mention that it will inflame every extremist from the Persian Gulf to China and spark a resurgence in international terrorism.

Explain to me again why I have to pay for someone else's war in a desert 10,000 miles away? Why should American kids have to die in an other middle eastern war?

  5. #2. Some months back a fat bleach blonde pharmacist leaned in pretty hard. She was under the delusion that I was using someone else's identity to score Rx. She kept yelling, Who are you? What's your real name?

The other pharmacist, a man, said something to her and she left. But it was her who finally filled my script, under duress I might add.

#5. I star in my own horrors. Once, on the motorcycle I came around a corner just in time to see a kite hit the ground. Right off I'm thinking kite, kite string across the road.

I brake heavily and come to a stop. But not before the kite string is sawing into my neck. There was blood and a nice smile from ear to ear.

#9. Ain't that the truth. It's a full-time job to beat down my inner grammar nazi. My fat finger typing betrays me.

  7. Great ones, Kenny. I was reading some of your old shit. Talking to CGD and calling him Nonads and them he grabs yours. Classic final line - I cancelled the appointment. Thank you for all these years.

  12. 1: So much peace and tolerance.
8: Right when we had made the choice to put my dad in long term care a few years back, I almost had a meltdown trying to buy eggs on sale at a local grocery store. Sometimes there's a straw that breaks the camel's back. That's now my go-to memory when I need to calm down over minor problems.
16: uBlock Origin is the real hero. Also don't use Chrome and you can actually install it.
