I demolished our old chicken run and ended up with a big pile of old rotten timber at the far end of the back yard. I was a bit slow to get rid of it and we ended up with a slight rat infestation. I cleared up the mess, set traps and our big tabby cat did his bit. It seems to be sorted now. Stonyground.
Why not a rat bounty to help deal with the problem? People spend hours every day collecting redeemable can/bottles for little money- Offer $0.25- $5.00 per rat depending on size- this approach can also be scaled up for illegal aliens- bonus $$$ for rapists, murderers, etc...

ReplyDeleteStonyground.
Rats aren't the only pests that eat dog crap. Coyotes eat it too, as for cats, they just eat them.

ReplyDeleteEver see wharf rats? I thought they were huge cats. Nope. They come out in numbers late at night and feast out of garbage cans in Galveston, TX.
