ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando woman, in hopes of picking up her dog, was arrested just before midnight after allegedly driving 113 mph down S.R. 417, an arrest report stated.
Driving over 85 mph is very dangerous for a non-obvious reason. Car tires without a special rating (S, H, V) are only rated for 85 mph for 1/2 hour. This must be adhered to especially in warm climates. Having a blowout at 90+ miles per hour may be fatal. Most cars on the road have tires without a special rating. A few have S rated. tires which are good for 113 mph continuous. The tire ratings assume that the tire is inflated properly.
Not sure if everyone has special tires. But it's been my observation that everyone does at least 90 mph on every expressway I travel. So I'm not so sure about that statement.
Like millions of other young folks these days she was apparently never disciplined, taught responsibility and to reject instant gratification by her parents or school. The spoiled, pea-brained brat knew only one thing; she wanted the dog no matter what stood in her way and she wanted it right then and there just like a 5 year old wants an object out of its reach.
Well being 32, her parents were almost certainly from the generation that invented "Free Love" and "never trust anyone over 30"... and schools don't teach responsibility, they teach mutilating yourself. Sow wind, reap whirlwind. Etc Deport her regardless, of course.
Driving over 100 mph is an arrestable offense under a 'new' law? I recall a few dirtbags back in the 80s getting cuffed for similar. Well, maybe there was alcohol involved. And you don't want to mouth off to a drunk trooper.
Florida had lessened some of the speeder laws. Then 2020 happened and certain segments of non-caucasoidals decided laws didn't matter to them because for no other reason than they were told they mattered over everyone else. A lot of this is due leftist prosecutors and judges, during the horrors of the Hafrican president, at local, state and national levels determined that non-whites were being disproportionate affected by laws.
So Florida brought back superspeeder laws.
Not saying whites don't speed excessively, but lay it clearly on the shoulders of the usual suspects in Florida, that being blacks and hispanics.

Plus my F150 gas mileage drops severely above 100.

"Super Speeder" law? That just doesn't seem right.

She's rather attractive in her booking photo, I'm sure something could have been worked out to prevent arresting her..

Obviously we don't share the same definition of "attractive".
DeleteTo each his own.
Well since that's the case why are you responding to me, write your own post...

At age 67, I am a bit younger than that described generation. A 32 yr old today would be closer to my grandchild.
DeleteAnyway, it is impressive how you establish complicity of an entire generation over this one act by one person.

Oregon has had a similar law for years; 100 mph is the tipping point where you lose your license and quite possibly your ride.
ReplyDeleteDid she ever get her dog?
