Winning the lottery won't tame the beast inside of anybody. On the contrary, it will just enable that beast. It would be a fear of mine if I suddenly became that rich. I can pretend I'd turn into a philanthropist all I want, but I know myself, and it would be a struggle (not that I'd be a drug dealer...I'm so done with that world, but I've had some destructive habits over the years.) I do know one of the first things I'd do is create a trust for myself with a shitload of money in it so no matter how badly I squandered my winnings I wouldn't wind up broke.
