A Frisbee golf course in Vegas was next to a cemetery. In high school, I accidently tossed the Frisbee into an open grave. Never did try to retrieve it.
A very welcome sight to wild land firefighters is the arrival of the water birds, helicopters and/or planes. One well placed water drop can mean the difference of gaining or losing control. I wish there were more of them. What would help the firefighters and the forests more is prescribed burns. Burning the underbrush and litter that accumulates on the forest floor before it becomes unmanageable would cut down on the ferocity and rapid spread of forest fires. Definitely make the job of wild land firefighters easier.

2: Did candies pour out of her head? 5: Way braver that me. 9: She seems smart. 10: The wildfire smoke has been hell this year, and the nearest fire to me is 200 miles away. We currently have almost 10k evacuees staying in my city waiting to find out of they'll have homes to return to. So much respect and gratitude to everyone fighting these fires.
