Naw, the pup is just like a kid: will do it all if you let him. Looks kinda like a lab, so maybe he's got a dual coat like most water dogs have-he'll stay warm. You know he's having boatloads of fun-his tail is wagging all the way down.
1: The word I'm looking for here is retard. 7: And another one. Aiming for that Darwin Award. 9: Slam the door and your little problem goes away, at least for a while.
I don't know much about horses, but I looked it up and Almanzor is a Top Fuel Racing Stallion in France. Anybody who touches the reins on that horse better have a postgraduate degree in horse-handling.
Maybe they use the simplest possible bit, to save weight or something.
#2 They're using a lead shank, which is a lead strap with a length of chain at the end and a snap to attach it to the halter. The shank can go over the horse's nose, under the chin, or in rare cases, through the mouth like a bit. The purpose is control - the horse weighs 900 plus pounds, so if he wants to go somewhere - he's going. That shank gives the horseman more control so as to keep him from running off. Like, say, after a mare in heat.
Thanks, that makes sense. I've had a horse walk off on me when all I had on him was a halter, and my puny human strength couldn't even slow him down. So they made a portrait of Almanzor with the shank through his mouth, because it shows the horse is a badass.
#9- When choosing an aftermarket hood ornament, it's important to match it to the make & model of your vehicle- the one shown is going to generate unnecessary attention and the increased drag will impact your gas mileage-
I get the distinct impression that No. 1 never did a practice run without the fire pit. He'll likely have a lifetime to look at himself in the mirror and remember that day.

#4 I bet the dog wishes it had a sled. I can't imagine how cold the nether regions would be.

ReplyDelete#8 - Was at that game in Starksville. Can't remember that QBs name, he transferred to Syracuse when he lost his starting job. But the crowd went nuts.

ReplyDelete#5- Alright! Just hang a credit card around his neck and you can wait in the car while he shops- just make sure he doesn't buy all doggie treats!
