#2 is right outside Grand Central Station in New York City. If I had to guess, the the cabbie was a Paki with no driving skills. These cabbies routinely get into accidents and then disappear back to Pakistani leaving the owner of the cab with a lawsuit that eventually leads to a default when the cabbie never shows up to legal procedinga.
