  1. It's a good thing when your dog understands sit, stay and heel, especially if it's a big dog

    1. My Grandpa built one of the barns here on the farm in 1922 and in the concrete there is a paw print. I've had dogs try to walk through newly poured concrete in the years since though I'm likely the bigger threat to step in it.

  6. yeah, old Jack pulled down the porch roof going after a damn rabbit. on post, no less. on base housing, so, a team of guys came out and put a holder/lead kind of thing in the ground for me and Jack. yup. 6 inch pipe filled with concrete like 5 foot deep in the back yard.
real nice setup too, Jack never pulled that out ! he did break a few collars though.
I bought a few pairs of pants for MPs until one guy figured out how to take Jack home.
simple, call him and have the back door pen. he jumped right in. so, yeah. Jack was known on post. dave in pa.

  9. While I like dogs this is why I don't own one. Last year my daughter's dogs "mugged" my wife resulting in a tibial plateau fracture...
