  1. Do you remember when we thought 80 was old and anybody who lived to 75 had had a long life? Sigh.

    1. I remember when I thought 60 was archaic. I’m now 76 and reassess whats old on a regular basis. Never thought I would categorize a 60 year old woman as “ young stuff”

    2. Not anymore we hope. The Russians blew up the adrenochrome labs in Ukraine right after the invasion.

  4. I remember in the fifties people retiring at sixty-five and within a year or so they were dead. Many never made it to sixty-five. I remember people in their early sixties, especially men, all shriveled up an and bent. Ancient man. I just looked it up. An Americian man's the life expectancy in the 50's was 65.6 years. Women were 71.1.

    1. I remember those life expectancies too! In the day, I was working for Grumman (before they merged with Northrup) and every time a guy retired, he was dead within a few years. That saved Grumman lots of money in pensions. My theory was that after they retired, they just sat on their duff all day And the fats just plated out on their coronary arteries.

    2. In 1980 my dad died at 60. He seemed so old. Now I'm 67 and still working part time, staring at 80 🙄

  5. Loni Anderson? I was wrong again. I had Jane Fonda in the weekend Death Pool, but I'll keep trying since no one likes a quitter.

    2. Yes, but most of us want it to be a slow lingering painful process, something like bone cancer.

  7. I predict a declining life expectancy, too much trash in the food and poison in the meds.
RIP Loni, you were one of the good ones!

    1. Stretch, it's Ginger AND Mary Ann; just as it should be Jennifer AND Bailey... back then, I was young enough to dream. Now I'm old and can only dream...

  10. Bailey was the leftist dinkwad that no matter how hot she could be, crazy she was and that made it not worth it.

Jennifer was very open as to who and what she was. Probably a fun and fulfilling date even if no sex occurred.
