The Long Branch Saloon gunfight

The Long Branch Saloon gunfight, on April 5, 1879, was an altercation that took place between Frank Loving and Levi Richardson at the Long Branch Saloon in Dodge City, Kansas. Both men were gamblers who frequented the saloon.

    I bet it got LOUD and smokey in the old Long Branch that day. I've always enjoyed reading gunfighting stories of the American post-civil war. Not so much the stories of teen violence involving guns today (face to face vs. "drive-by-shootings", etc.).
