my uncle Jack was a Marine and on Pelieu when the japs ran to hide in caves. he said the safest thing/way to deal with them was to roll a 55 gallon barrel of fuel/gas and a TNT charge in there after them . he was also fond of flamethrowers as well. I don't remember him having a grill though,,, a lot of this I didn't find out until AFTER I came home. we used to talk over beers. the thing that pissed him off the most was after that shit show, they found out the island wasn't needed after all. he was kind of bitter about that part. he was one of the 12 guys standing after it was over out of the company he was with. dave in pa.
