    1. I flew a lot with Bush Pilots. I told a pilot one day that I thought I could land a plane. He looked at me and said anybody can land one. It's the living afterwards that counts.

  2. #4 took me a few seconds to realize something was pulling on the tractor
    #5 was that duct tape on the shroud?
    #8 is a costly mistake, not just body damage but engine too

    1. Gear malfunction. Any mistake wasn't made in the cockpit. That was as perfect a landing as could be.

      The same aircraft was involved in landing accidents (more than $25k damage) in 2016 and 2020. Gear malfunction both times.

      Operated by Lufthansa. Airport in Arizona. The world over sends its trainees to the states because it is less expensive, among other reasons.

  11. Yeah, there's a reason I'm not an airplane mechanic. Haven't got the personality of perfectionism that it really requires. I see somebody else doesn't either...
