  1. 6) Be careful if you are removing a tree that has fallen like that. If you start trimming the top first sometimes they stand back up.

    1. A friend of mine did get tossed like that. He sticked the landing and slid to a stop on his boot soles still holding the chainsaw. He thought he was ok but it messed his back up from sticking the landing.

    2. When tree roots are so shallow that this unfortunate occurrence happens, often it's because the tree has way too much water and is not allowed to deepen its roots.

  5. #4 ... First time I saw one of those hand-wave-open trash containers I thought it was a little spooky. Got two of them now, myself.

DIL is rather short and *ahem* well-endowed. At last year's Christmas gathering she was standing in front of the hand-wave trash can and every time she moved, she inadvertently opened the can lid with her boobs. She, of course, could not see what was happening, due to the twin "obstructions", but everyone else was laughing their arses off. No one ever told her why.

  7. #7 - Catfishing with a weiner? Meh. It's done online all the time. Sometimes with even less bait than that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catfishing

  11. #7 Bill Dance once said cut hotdogs in sections and soak them in his stink bait overnight with a little red food coloring and you can catch catfish. He used empty 2 liter jugs and 40 lb test to make it easier

    1. We used to cut hot dogs into pieces, then slide them down the shank of a treble hook, then let them sit in the hot summer sun all day. It worked fine during the summer, but during the winter the catfish seemed to prefer fresh cut shad or sardines.
