If you think, "Going for a walk," gets them excited, watch when you say, "Car ride!" Was at a stop light and looked over at the Jeep in the next lane - a young lady had a dog in the passenger seat with the window slightly down. I looked over and said, "Are you going for a ride?". The dog went insane and the girl was laughing while she called me an asshole.
I asked a very simple question not to be attacked by well-named "utter morons" when I was a kid about his age in 1944, I climbed monkey bars, rode the seesaw, learned to fire a kid-sized .22, and many other things that are considered very dangerous today; neither I nor any of my friends suffered head injuries. my youngest did very similar things at the same age in 1983, as did her friends who also didn't wear helmets; when she was old enough to play soccer, she learned to do headers (without a helmet) from her elder siblings. and I worked as an endodontist for over 50 years and yes, I overanalysed things (and though retired still do) 'cause your mouth and your care (outside of my family)were the most important things in my life. I do not believe the kid should be wearing a helmet; for that matter, why not shut him up in a cage, and though he may have a few other problems, he'll sure never be exposed to any danger. Get the Little Ole tight-a**ed Ladies (male and female) our of our culture, out of our churches, and out of our school board and schools.
Nope, its all play. The rooster is young with no spurs. The two are pals and enjoying a good jousting session. Happens a lot around here with my goats and roosters.
#9: The minerals in the plant water are what the cat's after. My dogs do the same thing. They'd rather drink the dirty green water in the concrete water feature in the backyard than the clean water in their bowl. There are minerals leaching from the concrete and also from the dirt and dust that land in the water.
