The Louisville Metro Police Department says a local pastor has admitted to scamming senior citizens in the area “thousands of times.”

    1. In many cases yes, Anon. Some tip-offs are easy to spot - the perfectly combed hair, expensive suit, mega-church on late night TV. On the more local level, there are small time grifters like these , but I've known several who were in it for the real reason and not for the money.
