    1. Lol, I wonder how that works if each half gets married to different guys. One week the left side gets some then the next the right side ,? That hole is getting a good workout 🙂😉

    2. Which one is he married to, the ugly one or the uglier one? I'm already going to hell, so what difference does it make?

    3. Anon, there may only be one cooch but there are two mouths. What I wonder about is the hell that erupts when the married one accuses her sister of cheating with her husband.

    4. Daryl, that's kinda what I meant.. and what's the other head doing while the other is getting busy.. Maybe it's just one big party

  2. #12: "fewer." Sorry for the pedantry, but mixing up "less and "fewer" really bugs me. Now excuse me while I go and yell at a cloud.

    1. You'd go berserk if you and me ever had a conversation.
Whoops, excuse me - You and I. Or maybe just We.

    2. Mark, Kenny doesn't write them he just posts them.

    3. Agree with the less/fewer thing. It drives me nuts.

    4. Also #12 is not true. Not even close to true. Most 6 month olds receive 5 or 6 vaccines.

Unless you spent the first 35 years under a rock you received a lot more than 5 vaccines. If you went to school or served in the military you got a lot more than 5 vaccine doses.

      Delete
    5. Less is also correct. Since you're getting fewer doses by count, you'll also be getting less by volume.

    6. Anon @3:45. Don't get out much do you.

    7. We should be glad he don't get out much

  4. Kenny, :-)

JeremyR, I know. That doesn't mean I could resist my compulsion, though.

  5. #5: "I remember when there were whorehouses on the side of the road here! And it was two-lane blacktop!" (TX Hwy 121 between McKinney and Frisco)

    1. I lived in Frisco and had a friend walk into one of those for his car. Establishment name was Body Shop.

    2. !!! I drove up and back on 121 every week during the 90's and remember seeing 'those' places. Now, it's yuppie shopping and car dealerships along a damn tollway.

  6. #5 is NOT funny, Kenny. It makes one feel as though as though a black hole is swallowing one's home planet. The sadness is so deep.

I have not had to go to Southern California in more than 20 years, but for years afterward and even once in a while now, the dreams of someone paving over the redwood groves of home were about crippling. I can barely breathe when I have to drive through Marin for any reason nowadays. The wide open spaces have given way to freeway and condo complexes and all the roads leading out to the country are crusting up with the same shit, plus convenience stores. If I have to leave here for a fancy doctor or for another old friend or whatever, I'm going to have to find a kid to drive me so I can be blindfolded. It's THAT bad. -- nines

  7. #12 - I'm 72. Smallpox, polio & mumps only. Mom was a RN. Knew better. 3rd grade measles. That's it. Supposedly measles gives you immunity to Shingles.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I've heard that too. Also that being around kids who have the measles re-immunizes us old folks so we don't get shingles.

Don't know which is true, or both.

    2. Shingles is a reemergence of childhood chickenpox in adults typically over 50. Shingles vaccines (at least Shongrix) aren’t 100% effective.

No need to ask me how I know.

      Delete
    3. What Anon 8:50 said. Shingles/chicken pox virus lives in your nerve endings and reemerges when the immune system is having problems keeping it contained. A strong immune system is the answer not some 'vaccine'.

  8. #5 ... I reached that age something like 40 years ago. And I'm not 50 yet.

Forestry planning with grandpa back then was like, "do we have time to get another crop of construction-grade lumber from that area before the urban sprawl gets there, on the other hand if we get it *just* right we can sell it straight to builders onsite..."

  10. #5--all too true. I used to be able to see the Milky Way from my yard. Those days are long gone.

  11. #5 All too true. I remember places from my youth that used to be the woods I used to explore. And the buildings the used to exist but have been torn down, in one case every building was removed.
#6 All the more reason if she is a 2ndLt.
