Shit. She's a shoe in for Pelosi's job.

  2. "Judge Kester recognizes the seriousness of the situation and is fully cooperating with law enforcement and the judicial process," her attorney Matt Lindholm said in a statement to the AP. "She is committed to addressing this matter responsibly and in accordance with the law."

She's ready to run for Congress. She just has to come out as gay, or communist, or part injun, or something.

    1. Now see, political campaigns are built upon such masterful statements. That wordsmithing is strong enough to be in campaign literature.

    2. She's less dangerous as a drunk driving judge than she would be a drunken member of congress, we already have too many of those now

  3. Judge not lest you be judged yourself. Part of my life motto.

  4. Nah. Judge, and prepare to be judged. That's a better motto.

  5. Nah, she good.
Don't forget a local superior court judge had multiple DUIs, 7 IIRC, in 3 years. He ran over and killed a girl riding her bicycle. Passed out drunk up on the sidewalk, engine still running. He said he didn't remember anything.
    Still on the bench.

Caught drunk driving, first time offense, executed right there and then.

    1. That's how I feel about people who pass stopped school busses. Let's make a list...

    2. Okay, as long as were making a list, put on people who put windchimes out on their porches.

  7. The judge is kinda cute. Crazy cute, but at my age who cares? I'd have the court officer derobe her, cuff her, and then I'd proceed to pound her sounding box with my gavel of just-us.

  8. Rules for thee, but none for Judge Karen Keister, who was so drunk, deputies would not perform field sobriety checks out of an abundance of caution. What, were they afraid she might spontaneously ignite?

How often do you suppose this bint glared down at a DUI defendant in her courtroom and harangued the offender for putting the public's safety at risk?

Clearly the arresting officers allowed her to sober up, straighten her hair and don her 'problem glasses' before snapping her mug. I didn't look quite so dapper in my own booking photo. Judicial privilege, ya know.

  9. It's in Boone county so most of her cases probably involved drunk and disorderly, dope, meth, credit card fraud, divorce, and child custody.
If I was her, I'd say "fuckit" and go on a bender, too.

  10. Being a judge she probably heard a thousand excuses that might work. Should be able to pick one that might be feasable
