Yeah, that'll teach him a lesson for sure

Joseph Pecora, a former Chicago police officer who served federal time in 2006 for taking 50 pounds of pot from a drug supplier, has been sentenced to probation after DNA evidence allegedly tied him to a $350,000 burglary on the city’s Northwest Side.

  1. From seeing his mug shot the former Chicago law officer could have a 2nd career as a Tren de Aragua recruiter

  2. I’m certain that if I had been caught with 50 pounds of weed and, less than twenty years later stole $350K I’d be in prison for decades.

  3. Did the old lady get her money back? Since it wasn't mentioned, and he effectively has no penalty, and it's Chicago, I'm guessing 'no'....

  4. A poorly written article. I guess leaning on a shovel behind an asphalt truck with cadillac benefits wasn't good enough for him. No word on if the victim got the stolen money returned. Check the judge's bank account to see if she got a cut. Another lenient female excusing criminality.
