Tourist captures 'ghost sighting' at Gettysburg battlefield, sparks debate
GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHP) - A video posted by a tourist that shows what appears to be a ghost sighting at a Gettysburg battle field has launched an online debate.
been there, seen em. had six other soldiers with me, they saw it too. not to mention the other weird occurrences while we were there. it should be called a monument to the stupidity of open field warfare. what a waste of lives..
I am a highly skeptical science minded person but I've seen something exactly like that and not through a windshield or camera lens. At any rate I agree with riverrider. If Gettysburg ain't haunted, it ought to be!
Why not? If ya want to read some real poetic descriptions of Confederate Ghosts, try a few James Lee Burke novels. These descriptions are not in every book but when he does write about them they are pretty good. However, usually pretty brief too.
I am a very skeptical type, who highly values science. However, I have been to a number of battle fields in the the south, as well as places like the Alamo. It didn't matter that I didn't believe in ghosts. They were there, just the same.Such an overwhelming loss of life, leaves it's mark on a place.

ReplyDeleteYep, a waste of lives just to make BLM possible.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a 3D model with some filters. If this is a dash cam, why isn't it mounted? If this is a cellphone camera, why is it so grainy?

ReplyDeleteThe freaks come out at night, and I don't mean the "ghosts".
