I had a bitch of a day, my back hurts, hell, I couldn't even cook dinner after I got in but that was mostly because I stopped and had a few with the boys after work.
Sonofabitch, I almost wish I'd taken Pops' advice and went beyond the 11th grade but I really don't think them college boys are doing a whole lot better right now.
On the good side, CharlieGodammit didn't kill or bite anybody while I was at work today....
Hope you're feeling better and it is ALL RIGHT to take a day off, Wirecutter. I am learning to do the same thing and it is extremely hard to do, for me. I have had two spinal fusions, eight shoulder surgeries and am an orthopedic wrecking yard. I still need three(at least) more levels fused and my right shoulder joint replaced.
ReplyDeleteI am up very late every night because of severe pain and I have not taken narcotics for pain for three years now.
Anyway, nothing wrong with some self medicating with friends and
a night off.
I feel your pain brother. There's days I can barely manage to stay awake long enough to have a few beers and aspirins for dinner, but as the great Aaron Lewis once said: I feel tomorrow will be ok.
ReplyDeletebouncing in and out of twenty something trailers 400-500 times a day doesn't help much either.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I only load twice a week anymore, Randy - Mondays and Thursdays - but it's at least 18 trailers a day.
