Aquila ammo

Does anybody have any experience with Aquila ammo, specifically in 5.56 or 223?
I know it's manufactured in Mexico and Remington is/was the parent company and the price is right at some of the ammo sites I frequent.
Don't give me any shit about buying Mexican instead of American. I'll do damned near anything to keep the homeboys home.

  1. I had some 45ACP once. It was OK, but I don't remember much else about it.

  3. I use their .30 Carbine and it works fine - I can't hit for shit w/ it, but I can't blame the ammo.

  4. I have used their .45 and .380 ammo.
It makes the proper sized holes in the target.

  5. I've shot their .223 before. No problems what so ever. Good ammo for the price.

  6. I have run it in 9mm through my Sig P250, FHN, and my Springfield XD, if the price is right at the gun-show I pick it up for $10 a box. Its OK for practice and find it compares with others like Remington or Blazers with no drop offs or improvements of performance in FMJ. I definitely like it better and have less feed issues with Aguila than I have had with Wolf or Tula.

  7. +1 for the .45 ammo. Never had any issues with the ammo and it definitely meets all expectations as far as accuracy goes.

  10. I've used some of their .22lr, .45acp and .30 Carbine: no problems with any of it, and the centerfire stuff seems to be good-quality reloadable brass
