HALIFAX -- Police say at least 18 people, including an RCMP officer, have been killed in a mass shooting incident in Nova Scotia, making it the worst mass shooting in Canadian history. MORE
The media is reporting the usual miss match of condradictory info its hard to know what really happened.
Of course this happened during lock down, he dressed as a cop and went around shooting people in their homes and lighting the houses on fire with almost a random selection of who he went after.
And just as our federal tyrants are taking back up the gun control mantra to distract from their stupidity during the beer virus.
"... this sort of thing only happens in "gun crazy" USA. Huh."
Canadian here. Grew up in rural South Western Ontario (rural West of Toronto to Lake Huron, basically). Went squirrel and ground hog hunting with friends as kids. Lots of farmers trapped locally and night hunted raccoons for a bit of side income and fun. They still do.
Understand that farming areas in Canada have a great deal more in common with the US Deplorables than they do with the cloud people and vibrants in cities like Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. There's a bit less of a gun culture here. A big part I think is we don't have the same number of people that have military service in war zones. But that's just us.
So this asshole decided to go out and murder a bunch of people and was a bit more clever than the usual suspects when he did it. No one here with any experience with guns is going to be fooled with calls for more control. And there's a lot of us. And the people who have no clue will call for more limits. There's a lot of them, too. Same shit. Different latitude. The ride never ends.
they just don't get it. must be the air up there

I just read that this sort of thing only happens in "gun crazy" USA. Huh.
ReplyDeleteRemember when Obama smugly lectured us and said these types of shootings didn't happen in "other" countries?
