#13 forgot Peter Gabriel. After he quit the band, Genesis was more commercially successful, but they lost that creative edge. PG was still creating interesting music long after Genesis fizzled out.
And don't forget Steve Hackett. An unbelievably underrated lead guitarist.

Peter may have had that creative edge, but Phil did a little better when it came to Alamo collections.
