Thanks! I was wondering just how this could happen, but if you believe the news the parents took their eyes off the child for a minute, then saw her floating away. I guess the parents couldn't swim.
This isn't the first such occasion. About two weeks prior, a six year old boy floated out to sea riding a similar float. He was rescued in the very nick of time.
I dunno, maybe I'm just different. I'd a been in the water after that lil girl. Just my nature. I see most the men were not in great shape. Maybe that was it. I'm over seventy and put those youngsters to shame.
I read about this @mail online, I think it was, a couple days ago. Happened in the eastern med somewhere, if I recall correctly. Kid's lucky she wasn't shark food.
