(WSOC/CNN/Meredith) – A North Carolina man is facing charges for shooting a woman in the arm with a BB gun after she removed his President Donald Trump campaign sign from his yard.
Peggy Fox was visiting her brother’s home in Lincolnton. When she arrived, she saw a Trump sign in what she thought was her brother's yard. She assumed it was a prank, since her brother doesn’t express his political views, she said. Thinking it was a prank, she pulled the sign from the yard.

No, I don't believe she "assumed it was a prank." I think she f**ked around and got found out. But if she is stupid enough to go about vandalizing peoples' property when she isn't sure where she is, she's likely to get shot again, and she ought to get shot. If she can steal a lawn sign, she can steal a dog, and in NC, that's a hanging offense. (See how this works? It's an extension of the logic that says if Trump's chauffeur says good morning to a Russian parking attendent, then Donald must be spilling the nuclear codes to Putin.)
ReplyDeleteI live about 30 minutes from that town and it does not surprise me at all.
ReplyDelete"When she arrived, she saw a Trump sign in what she thought was her brother's yard.[...]Thinking it was a prank, she pulled the sign from the yard."
ReplyDeletePull the other one, honey, it's got bells on it.
"Man shoots woman with BB gun after she accidentally removed his pro-Trump yard sign"
ReplyDeleteFFS. She didn't "accidentally" remove his sign. She deliberately removed his sign, based on a wrong assumption. I can't tell if it's borderline illiteracy or deliberate obfuscation with the so-called journalists these days. In other words, the "morons or assholes" question. (Probably both....)
Even if it really had been her brothers yard she had no business pulling the sign. What a twit.
ReplyDeleteExactly. She has no right to pull ANY sign, unless in her own yard. Anti Trumper trying to cover her ass.
Delete“He actually believed that he could shoot me if I was on his property, and to me that’s terrifying,” That statement leads me to believe she knew she was trespassing.
ReplyDeletethe quote continued "I think it speaks to the political divisions, and its really sad" Sure does speak to divisions and one side feeling real comfortable with violating laws to shove their agenda down peoples throats. Just remember your speech is violence and their violence is speech.
DeleteShould have been a .45 & right between the eyes.
ReplyDeleteI'm available for the jury. And to buy him a beer afterwards.
ReplyDeleteShe thwarted this person's 1st Amendment rights. Good case for a counter-suit.
ReplyDeleteShe's a lying biatch. Or a Democrat. Oh. Sorry for the redundant statement.
ReplyDeleteI hate jury duty, but I would gladly serve on this one. Of course, the attorneys would probably say "no" since I would be begging to be on the jury.
ReplyDeleteNot only would I find him "not guilty", I would award him damages for the destruction of his property (and the price of the pellet she walked away with)!!!!!
