"How dare you suggest people should not obey!"

The governor of Michigan criticized Dr. Scott Atlas, one of President Donald Trump’s top Covid-19 advisers, after he said on Twitter Sunday that Michigan residents should “rise up” against its new restriction measures.
“The only way this stops is if people rise up,” Atlas said on Twitter. “You get what you accept. #FreedomMatters #StepUp.”

  1. That comment was the high point of my year. And the fact that it came from a medical professional made it even sweeter. The Empress of Lansing has 2 years left on her contract, and I will do everything in my power to see that it isn't renewed.

  2. Ya know...
That little twit up there in Michigan *really* needed to get married to a strong alpha male that would have managed her little attitude. If kept in line properly, she would probably have made a fairly good housewife and mother.
Sadly, a good housewife and mother does not do much good when coupled with a fragile ego at the head of a state.

  3. And so it begins. It will get worse before it gets better.

  5. Corona virus heads the news every hour on the hour, for the music radio we listen to at work. But have you noticed how the screeching has gone from Corona virus deaths to Corona virus cases?
    Hmm

  6. Mrs. Whitmer: so, uh, what happened to "two weeks to flatten the curve", ten months ago?

You took unprecedented authoritah, ten months ago, for saafffftttttyyyyy, and yet, in your own words, we face "the worst week ever".

So, you admit it. You are not only an authoritarian, you are even an ineffective one.

No wonder the prospect of your subjects "rising up", "took your breath away".

Perhaps you should be appreciative that it was a tweet that did so.
