Tennessee governor to Vice President Kamala Harris: 'Abortion isn't health care'

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Tennessee Governor Bill Lee took to Twitter on Friday to disagree with a statement made by Vice President Kamala Harris.

VP Harris tweeted on Friday "On the 48th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we recommit ourselves to ensuring that everyone has access to care—including reproductive health care—no matter their income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status."

  1. Good for him.
I have always said that any time a bloodthirsty Democrat "cleverly" calls abortion 'reproductive health care'.......they are immediately identifying themselves as lying psychopaths.
I fucking hate that term...'reproductive health care'....If you're pro abortion, at least call it what it is, or just shut the fuck up.

    1. Hell, I heard most of the dem women thought Roe versus Wade was the choice Washington had to make when crossing the Potomac....

  5. Abortion is murder, and anyone practising it is a murderer, and falls under the biblical judgement of blood, earning themselves a retroactive abortion. That bill will be paid...

  6. The "new speak" surrounding abortion is the most atrocious manipulation of language I've ever heard. Abortion is the antithesis of reproduction. The physical and psychological damage done to a womans body is often permanently damaging to their health. Most of the so called "medical" staff at those facilities don't "care" for anyone, not the children, and not even the expectant mothers. How many stories have come to light of staff members being verbally, and even sometimes physically abusive to these woman? And "Pro-choice"? The irony of that label would be laughable if it wasn't mislabeling such a horrible practice. Planned Parenthood doesn't do ultrasounds. They don't offer prenatal care or referrals. They don't offer to help poor women sign up for Pregnancy Medicare. They don't offer adoption counseling. And PP as well as every pro-abortion politician and lobbyist have actively fought against any moves or measures that would require abortion providers to give patients any of that information. And they've even worked to limit or block the ability of Crisis Pregnancy Centers to operate successfully.

    1. The psychological damage cannot be underestimated. I've known several female senior citizens who still, half a century later, haven't recovered from the "choices" they made back in their youth.

  7. I am my parents third attempt at having a child. The first two attempts ended in miscarriages. Their fourth attempt was also a miscarriage. Their fifth attempt got me little brother. If their third attempt had put her life in danger, I would hope that the doctors would have terminated the pregnancy that ultimately produced me.
So, christians, who's life is more important, the mother or the unborn child, and why?

    1. They're not talking about when the mother's life is in danger, more about women that use abortions as free birth control.

    2. That is a big hypothetical if. I'm sure you are aware of that and simply trying to make an invalid point. What do you mean "put her life in danger?" That is very rarely the case as you should know.

    3. Exactly, WC.
And that point is constantly deliberately misunderstood.
As is the point about using OUR federal tax dollars to fund this atrocity.

    4. Abortion on demand was sold to the American people as 'rare, only to be used to save the life of the mother, blah, blah, blah.'

As Wirecutter points out, it's now almost a point of honor. There are people out there celebrating 9-10-11 abortions, none of them 'at risk.' All of them because it's cheap and easy.

    5. False dichotomy. Life is important. Period. Neither one is "more" important.

  8. Retroactive abortion for pro-abortionists should be added to the bill as an option.

  9. Made me sick to my stomach the other day, when I went to the pharmacy to pay for my wife's life-saving drugs that require proof of insurance, prescriptions, a picture ID to pick it up, and I have to drag my wife to the pharmacy about every 6 months to prove to them that she's alive.

Meanwhile, I notice as I'm paying out over 500 bucks, that I can buy, over the counter, without prescription, a home murder kit for less than $40. Yep, I can buy a morning-after pill that will murder another human being for pennies.

    Something's wrong there.

    1. Well, one of them isn't addictive, doesn't have the side effect of getting you high, and there is a large demand, thus an economy of scale. So, yeah, different things cost different amounts of money, and require different safeguarding.

but VOTING by mail is okay and do not DARE ask for proof that the person really is who they say they are.

  11. I can still remember the first time I heard the term "reproductive rights" come out of Hillary's foul mouth.
