Hilton Valentine, guitarist for The Animals dead at 77

Hilton Valentine, guitarist for British rock and roll band, The Animals, has died. 

He was 77. Valentine died Friday, wife Germaine Valentine told his record label ABKCO Music who confirmed his death. A cause was not released.

  2. I sure liked the Animals. The Best Of The Animals was a great album. One of my favorite songs was, I'm Mad. As the years went by I decided I did not like Eric Burden even a little bit. I think him an arrogant prick.

    2. Note: I left out Unpleasant Bastards, Local 519. That makes Burden just a run a the mill arrogant ho hum prick. He aint a card carrying member of the Brotherhood and an upstand prick and bastard like yer self. I sure didn't mean to offend.

  3. I was 13 when that song came out. Even with Old Timer's disease, that one is burned into the OLD memory. Great group, even with Burdon.
