Here in this article is another example of a trick used by true believers and journalists. Take something which can be proven - empirical evidence - and associate it with subjective opinion.
ReplyDeleteExample: NG troops are sent to D.C. That is factual.
Include in same sentence, 'until we root out the dark forces...blah blah blah'. That is subjective opinion.
The reader will be left with the opinion that it was necessary to send the troops in order to root out double ungood wrongthink.
1) it is a negative opinion; 2) it is not their (the public) original opinion. It is in this manner that the public's opinion is shaped, formed, molded accordingly by the journalists. Oh no, don't dare to think the guvnah came up with that on his own, he had professional wordsmiths write the script for him.
Trouble is, no one thinks critically when reading or listening, they were never taught that skill and blindly believe the hyperbole.

If the Left wishes to remove all guns from civilians, then they should begin with gangs and felons who are the cause of the majority of the crime. Once they take all guns from them, convincing people to give up there guns ('case Safe Streets !!) will be much easier.

The Second Amendment about owning guns isn't necessarily about keeping guns to protect family and self from criminals (outside of government).
