The shit I post on Facebook

And I got notice this morning that I'm suspended from FB yet again for another 30 days for posting this a few weeks ago, believe it or not. Says it went against their standards on dangerous organizations.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.....

    RIGHT LANE CLOSED AHEAD

    1. In the UK we have a little book called 'The Highway Code'. You have to study it to pass the theory part of your driving test. It is updated from time to time and I generally buy the latest version and read through it. Most people never look at it again after they pass their test. According to the newer version of the HC, the correct procedure when faced with the closed lane sign is for everyone to stay in their own lane until they get to the obstruction and then 'zip merge'. This means that alternate cars move into the single remaining lane. Since most of the drivers don't know about this, following the highway code will get you labelled as the entitled twat being referred to here.

  3. 'LEGO" is now a dangerous organization?
I am in trouble now, after raising five boys I have a gazillion pieces of them sitting in the basement.

    1. LEGO I believe is some kind of Swedish acronym for carpet landmine.

  4. I got the same warning for the LEGO dude. (Come to think of it I probably got the meme from you in the first place.) I disagreed with the decision and they put it back up. Like I cared anyway.

  6. #12 The smoothest merges I ever saw or drove in were in PA where the road signs all say to "Remain in your lane until merge point" and folks would obey the alternating turns at the merge points. Sure beat as*wipes speeding by you to merge 16 cars ahead.

    1. That would work better. Here people drive in the closed lane and pick up 100 spaces because there is no shortage of pussy morons to let them in. Oh, look at that poor man stuck in the closed lane....

    2. Because that’s the way your SUPPOSED to do it!
Douches who play “vigilante driver” and want everyone in the same lane as them (as long as it’s *behind* them) are just unnecessarily fucking up smoother traffic flow.

  7. The following will get you put in Farcebook jail for 30 days:
"The student should have added that "trans" people are mentally ill people who cannot accept their own gender, and who wish to mutilate themselves out of self hatred." It seems their "community standards" don't like the truth.

  8. I agree. Merging works best if everyone stays in their lane and then does the "zipper" at the merge point. Of course, therein lies the problem. There is always some douche-canoe who just has to be that extra twenty feet ahead of everybody else.

  9. #12, that space in front of my truck I call my safe stopping distance is seen by every one else as the spot I'm saving just for them

  10. I'm glad most commenters here understand what is meant by "Merge Ahead". Screwauger has it right!

  11. #15 Per the DOT - you merge at the sign/cones, alternating vehicles.

NOT 3, 2 or 1 MILES BACK! That creates the jam.

Keep it flowing, alternating merge. Easy peasy except most everyone doesn't know this.

Likewise, merge lanes are long so the merger can spot a hole and match speed, causing as little disruptions to traffic.

Instead ppl get to the end of the ramp expecting everyone to get out of their way.

Just had a guy flip me off because he perfectly match my speed and position then freaked out when his lane ran out. Not sorry.

Highly recommend is Rexing dash cam, front and rear. Bitch tried to cut me off - said I ran into her - my smile couldn't have been bigger when I said to the officer "would you like to see the video?"

Black bitch thought she'd get a payday. She got a smashed in door from my tire - and not a mark on my truck lol

  12. The zipper merge works great until you get two, three or four 18 wheelers in a row.
