Metro Police have released body cam and dash footage of a deadly shootout Friday morning involving a Metro officer and a woman. Officer Josh Baker is recovering at a Nashville hospital and is stable condition. The woman, 31-year-old woman Nika Holbert, has died.

That scream reminds me of the baboons screaming in Africa. You’d come up on them in the road and them mean ass things would swarm around the vehicle the big ones pacing around the vehicle and the little ones staying back all the while all of them screaming just like Nika here!! ReplyDeleteShe was a severe security risk from the get-go, exiting the vehicle, asking to use the restroom, reaching in the vehicle several times. Notice though when she "panicked".. there was an escape plan as she grabbed her purse, did the lap around the car and opened the door. She planned on peeling out but then the tazing drove her to the gun option. Well she's dead of her own choices now in any case.

Can't wait to see the family on the news- she was a good daughter/ mother and loved everyone and was trying to turn her life around. Glad that homegirl got that last Newport.

Yeah, I read that he was a FTO. He had zero control of that situation from the gitgo. He let her turn her back to him and root around in the vehicle, let her ignore him when he told her to go to the back of the vehicle, turned his back on her when he went to his vehicle, let her light up a Newport, and after the first exchange of shots, even though he obviously still had rounds in his weapon and was able to pick it up, he allowed her to drive off without dumping the rest of his mag at her. He got super lucky.
