"Hey, I told y'all I was going to be busy that day"

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP/CBS13) — The California Medical Board said it would investigate a plastic surgeon who appeared in a videoconference for a traffic violation trial while operating on a patient.

Dr. Scott Green appeared virtually from an operating room Thursday for his Sacramento Superior Court trial, The Sacramento Bee reports.

  3. And people wonder why human malpractice cases are so damn high in number. BS like this. Years ago I had a client come into my vet clinic demanding I see his dog (it had a hook in its ear put there by the idiot owner that couldn't cast to save his life). My staff told him I was in surgery and when I was finished he could be seen. The guy, a royal douche, barged into the door towards the back area and I was in surgery, gowned, knee deep in blood from a procedure I was doing. He proceeded to walk right into the surgery room and said "You'll see my dog now". I lost my shit. I set my instruments down, walked right up to him (I'm a short one at 5'5" and he's about 6'2") and said Get the F out of my surgery room now, get the F out of my building now and if the slightest post op complication comes up with this dog on the table, I'll let the owners know you interrupted the procedure and he's a lawyer (he wasn't, but I needed to get this guy good). He left the building and called a couple days later trying to apologize. I refused to talk to him and had his records sent elsewhere. So this idiot surgeon in the article thought he'd be cute and show of his oh so important job to the judge so you know, maybe they'd be lenient with him cause he was saving lives and such. Doctors likes this deserve to be sued.

Not even a judge, probably can't walk and chew gum at the same time and is passing judgement on a surgeon who has probably lectured through more procedures than he can count.

  5. Besides the doctor, the damn judges need to be taken down a peg or two.
