Yep. Astute viewers are pretty sure somebody pulled those two beds apart, then arranged the bedspread so it appeared solid.
I suspect Coyote was involved in this attempt on the life of Roadrunner. Obviously, Roadrunner saw the script, then used some sort of little-known 'desert anomaly' to facilitate his quick escape.
#6 reminds me of the time my friend got out of my 1973 Super Beetle to bumper hop in the snow. I was so trashed that after about 5 seconds, I forgot he was hanging on to my bumper. I drove him over a dry patch and wiped him out. At that point, I was on a mission to get a Whopper with Cheese from Burger King. Then, I went home.
I left him miles from home with a bleeding ass. He also tore his back pocket and lost his wallet. He's never forgiven me...
