I'd be pissed as hell

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - An Allen County family is speaking out after their two-year-old German Shepherd dog was shot and killed last weekend by a Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officer on their property.

“Did this really happen? Did we just lose a member of our family?” Those were the thoughts running through Cheryl Brady’s head on the morning of March 27.

  1. An Allen county fish and wildlife "officer" should surely be missing. Ohio Guy

  2. Because those types of LE are cowards is why they shoot pets. Yes bear spray is cheap and should be carried.

    1. Mail carriers don't carry guns, they carry spray. So, yeah, cops ought to do the same and quit being such amped up pussies about animals. If that were my dog, that piece of shit would more holes in him than from teeth.

  3. Fish and Wildlife officer ... investigat(ing) a trespassing complaint

something doesnt add up here. what is a game warden doing "investigating" tresspass reports?

    1. In KY they are sworn LEOs. It sounds like the suspected trespass included a hunting violation.

    2. Without a warrant, they are still just trespassing, suspected violation or not. If they have enough evidence, get a warrant. Otherwise, take a hike. If they don't leave when asked, or if the property is posted, they are guilty of criminal trespass.

  4. I got 3 dogs. They are part of my family. I cannot say what I would do but if I had to place a bet, it would involve me being in handcuffs.

  5. What is the name of this prick?

  6. If equal protection under the law meant anything, this officer would be in jail for murder, criminal trespass and a few other charges.

  7. I guess his reason for being there was the "take of wildlife" complaint. Looks like he should have talked to the property owners.
We have a GSD mix who makes a lot of noise. When we're out, mostly the dog neighbors understand. I have one neighbor who never had dogs who is afraid of her but he's an Alabama fan and there's nothing we can do.
There was one probable Karen who encountered us with her dog and mine was going crazy. She kept saying "out of control dog" over and over. I said that she was under control, I was keeping my dog from ripping her throat out. I guess that was the wrong thing to say because then she started saying, "Dangerous dog" over and over. We haven't seen her lately.

    1. Speak for yourself. I love my dogs more than I do most members of my family.

    2. That wasn't a nice thing to say Gregory. I'm with Kenny. My dogs mean more to me than most people, including family.

    3. Maybe Gregory is one of them "amped up pussies" like Andy said above...

    4. Seriously, my dogs are far more important to me than most people. A certainly far more important than any LE than comes onto the property uninvited without a warrant, "investigating" or not.

    5. Grow the fuck up. You’re submitting that stupid comment on the wrong blog. Kenny is spot on, and dog owners almost universally value their pets as family members. Skipperdaddy [above] is exactly right. If some LEO killed any of my 3 dogs after wandering onto my property, I suspect I’d also end up handcuffed.

  9. I have three big dogs (actually two and a doofus puppy) that will 100% run you off my property as well as bite you if they think I'm threatened. Twice our female (the smaller of the three) went for the throat of idiots that ran up on me as I was walking them.

But if you are invited in, they are big teddy bears. They scared the shit out of my business partner when he first met them. But an hour later, we're drinking beer and he has 85 lbs of lab/shepherd at his feet. He said "Man, I need to get a big dog again"

I'd be furious if Barney Fife used his gun on them. They are territorial and protective. It's why I have them.

BTW, whatever happened to knocking on a door and asking permission first?

Bah! Those who carry the King's commission need no permission from a peasant!

  10. Without a warrant the F&G punk (he doesn't deserve to be called 'officer') was, IMO, trespassing.

    1. In California, 'Fish and Wildlife Conservation Officers' (they used to be called 'Fish and Game Wardens' before the pussies took over) don't need a warrant. That's why there's always one with each marijuana eradication team busting an illegal grow.
Wardens' jurisdictions also extend 7 miles beyond state lines.

  11. Hopefully, the injuries included the removal of his credentials prior to him killing that dog. I second the above comment about ending up in handcuffs, but like they say, after the first one, the rest are free. Oh, ..and fuck off, Gregory.

  12. Yea, no this asshole would come up missing real soon.
Fuck him and his asshole department.

  13. Since in most places the killing of a police dog is legally killing a police officer, then I would consider the killing of MY dog as the killing of a family member.....and act accordingly.
Dogs are, in my world, members of my tribe and my family.

As my father would say...."The las thing he heard would be a whisper in his ear".
I have the tools and the skills for close up, or a half mile away. But either way.....

  14. This did happen in Kentucky, and some of them folks still live by the feud. I'm sure the owners know his name, and if I were him, I'd be relocating to parts unknown right soon.

  15. Gregory probably has a bunch of cats.

  16. Why do badgemonkeys kill dogs? Because they can..... And they do it on average EVERY 90 MINUTES EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. And until doing so do costs them....PERSONALLY, they have ZERO incentive to stop murdering pets..... because it isn't just dogs they kill.

  17. If a citizen kills a police K9 its just like killing an officer no ? Same applies here , I like my dogs more than I like most people. If I go to a get together , Im usually hanging out with the dogs , they know who is friendly , and can tell who is scared and act differently .Oh , and Gregory is probably just a cat loving leftist douche bag troll .
