Dang! Look out wirecutter,if they are thinking of taking their last comment serious, the next thing you know will be talking to the po-lees for your own good. As long as there isn't a trigger happy one that shows. Note Big Countries recent experience.
FB does that to me pretty often except they usually just replace my meme with a message that says the post has been taken down or is no longer available. Some forms of humor seem to go right over their pointy little heads, like your example here. The children they hire for censors seem especially unable to comprehend irony.
I don't swim in the social media mire, but I was permanently banned from Grouchy Old Cripple's blog years ago under a different alias for upstaging Denny's Saturday booby thread. So I know the loin-tingle thrill of: I fought the law and the law won, but who the fuck cares.
The Facebook police up and disabled my account over a month ago for something I posted in August of last year. Guess they don't like me making fun of Pedo Joe.
daddy-o here, On this idea of community standards, that place that judges, I say it doesn't need to be stated as a standard. I was born , not raised, but born to be good. Many others are also so born. I'm not religious, but have empathy for others that fall into bad luck. I don't laugh at one who trips accidently, as we all trip sometime. I had pity for the man who had no shoes till I met the man who had no feet.
Facebook, who creates these standards, is showing itself as the devils advocate. It is trying, no, has, decided that it is the last judge of what is right and wrong. Shame on them. WC's posting of memes does elicit humor, sometimes edgy humor, but is an example of why humans must express themselves, to show that we all as humans can see that we are human and not robot all programmed to act the same way. If 5% of the population can decide how the rest of the population must think, then that 5% should be ignored, not banned. But the MSM is the real problem, they promote this thinking, defend it, and will attack and cancel any that offers and opposing view. They alone support that 5%. Now examine closly who owns and runs the MSM.
