Afghan abandonment a lesson for Taiwan’s DPP

The US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan has led to the rapid demise of the Kabul government. The world has witnessed how the US evacuated its diplomats by helicopter while Taliban soldiers crowded into the presidential palace in Kabul. This has dealt a heavy blow to the credibility and reliability of the US.

  1. US Gov. has completely abandoned US citizens to be knowingly tortured and killed.

They are flying boatloads of Afghan citizens out and into the US, but have instructed remaining US intel and contractors to shelter in place. Some estimate up to 50,000 US citizens. There is NO PLAN to get them out.

These people PURPOSELY left behind will go through the most horrible brutal deaths. Middle ages doesn't even begin to describe it. This makes the evac. of Saigon look like fun in comparison.

The fuckers in gov. DID THIS ON PURPOSE.

Make sure you CLEARLY understand this.

    1. There's probably closer to 10,000 Americans, and many of them are both dual-nationals that can go to other embassies, and also they are do-gooders trying to prove primitive Mohammedans can be house trained. The withdrawal was on the wall and they didn't need to stay until the last minute. The US is hated above all and has an agreement with the Tali that is on thin ice due to other violations.

The Taliban will let the people go to appear magnanimous and further humiliate the US. There will always be some holdovers they can nab and torture to death for further humiliation later. They don't need or want 10K hostages. It only takes a few to show how feeble and weak Americans have become. Look at the leader they chose after all.

The US won't get better until we go all Taliban-like on Democrat voters. How many have you abused today?

  2. Wait until Taiwan, Japan and South Korea figure it out, and start building nukes like Toyotas. Our reassurances is the only thing keeping them from doing it, and they'll feel the need to keep China at bay.

    1. Japan could - and should - do that quickly. Australia too. NPT is dead. The world cop is going fetal.

    2. It has long been pretty strongly suspected that Japan is about 4 bolt tightenings away from having nukes.

    3. Yep. BADORANGEMAN! should have quietly returned Japan's weapons-grade plutonium before he left office.

  3. The article you link was written by the Global Times which is the propaganda arm of the cccp. It's meant to sow distrust and fear.

As for Afganistan, what we rightly perceive as a tragedy in the making is exactly the outcome the installed regime and the idiot Biden wants, at least that's what they tell the idiot. There is too much shit with far reaching implications going on that by design it is happening to radically alter the global playing field. And not to our advantage. People are getting rich while others suffer.

  4. Trump had a plan that the Generals and the Intel community fought tooth and nail against. Then they all lied about Trump's draw down orders every time they were told to produce reports on the number of soldiers shipped home every month. Milley at al should be facing a court marshal TODAY, then sent to Leavenworth for the rest of their lives for what's happening Afghanistan right now.

When the news came out that the generals were lying about draw down numbers I wrote a letter to President Trump telling him to start firing people until he got down to someone in the ranks that, when Trump told him to do something, he came to attention saluted and said "Yes sir. Right away sir" and carried through on the order.

Trump's problem with the military stemmed from him trying to be persuasive instead of ordering things to be done as the Commander in Chief. What he should done from the get go, was call the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs into the Oval after he found out they were lying to him, ordered him to stand at attention and chewed him up one side and down the other in front of witnesses, then stripped him of his rank badges, fired him and kicked him in the ass on the way out the door.

Sure the press would have called for his head, but they were doing that every day anyway.

Instead he listened to excuse after excuse and now here we are with the worst debacle in the history of warfare anywhere on the planet. The only saving grace out of this mess is that it landed squarely at the feet of Joe Xiden and Demonrats.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a Trump supporter. He did a lot of great things in four short years fighting against EVERYONE in DC. But, his dealing with the military was one of his failures.

Some famous Chinese guy once said "When you are the Commander, be the Commander".

      Well, you say that....
      - The Wehrmacht after Operation Bagration
      - The IJN after Leyte Gulf
      - Napoleon, after retreating from Moscow
      - the Crusader States, after Hattin

  7. “This has dealt a heavy blow to the credibility and reliability of the US“.

That was one of my thoughts earlier this week. I added to that we will have no allies. Then I realized how fucked up worse than the US all of our old allies are.

  8. Leave no man behind. Well, the idiot and his handlers just left more breathing Americans behind than in any other example I am aware of. He took an oath to protect this country and its citizens. What traitorous deceit. I pray for my fellow Americans in that hell hole, for what it is worth. Abandoned. Scary scenario...the idiot is actually "in charge."
