#1. The basis for the rumor of chips in vaccines is funding the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation gave to Rice University to find a way to track what vaccines a person has been given (think third world problems).
Rice University came up with a way that the injection would leave a tattoo at the injection site that could be read with a slightly modified smart phone. This is the basis for the rumors.
