27% of California parents willing to sacrifice their children

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — As California prepares to roll out COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 5 through 11, a new survey shows notable hesitancy among parents to get their kids the shot. 

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, 27% of families surveyed said they plan to vaccinate their young children as soon as possible while 66% cited concerns over the vaccine impacting their child's future fertility.

    The statistics show that there is a possible positive gain from the vaccine for adults, especially those older or with comorbidities. For children, there are no positive outcomes of the vaccine, since the virus has been demonstrated to be for the most part non lethal in the young, while the side effects of the vaccine are much worse.
    After much waiting and thought, I got the vaccine, but I made the choice for myself and in my situation. I encourage others to make the choice for themselves, in their own situation. And I urge caution for anyone with young children, based on the possible medical needs of their kids, be it an autoimmune disease or such, in concert with their doctor, and with much consideration.

      After two jabs on January 7 and 28 of this year I had an anti-body test done this week. Results: ZERO anti-bodies.
      They probably just have me some saline.
      Booster? Nope. I am done.

    Only 27% in California. I would have thought it would be around 75%

    No worries, we'll just bring in millions of illegals and promise them bigger welfare checks for each litter they drop every year.

    What is the role of the parent if not to monitor/control their health care?

    There are some seriously pissed off people whose parents failed to prepare them for adulthood. Imagine adding reduced lifespan and infertility to the mix.

    The funny thing is that here in Soviet Monica, most people/parents refuse to get any sort of vaccination - to the point where SM is a likely place for a major disease outbreak. But most have lined up very willingly for this one.

    Enh, as in most things, I used to be disgusted; now, I'm just amused.
