Marine Lt. Col. Scheller pleads guilty to all charges

Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was found guilty on Thursday of numerous charges in connection with his very public battle with top military and civilian leaders that began over the Afghanistan withdrawal and then morphed into a grudge match over “the system,” a Marine Corps spokesman said.

The military judge hearing the case accepted Scheller’s plea of guilty on Thursday. He faces sentencing this afternoon and the maximum punishment that Scheller could receive would include a letter of reprimand and forfeiture of two-thirds of one month’s pay for a year, the spokesman said. He has also requested to leave the Marine Corps, but the type of discharge he will receive will ultimately be decided by the Navy secretary.

  1. Considering that the Navy secretary is a Biden appointee I'll be amazed if gets anything better than a dishonorable discharge, and that will be a shame.

    1. My thoughts exactly. His mouth wrote a check that his ass couldn't cash. I wonder what kind of "deal" he got? One thing for sure, I would stay away from anything he is ever involved with in the future. May as well put him in a flower pot...he's a plant.

  5. He deserves what he's getting. So, now lets see Milley get his for doing worse.

  6. Any military officer who is dumb enough to reach his rank and then speak like he did, had an ulterior motive, most likely a book deal, with a 6 figure guarantee. He could have retired and then spoke out, or he could have just kept his mouth shut, and done his job.
I think the prediction for a run for public office is probably spot on.

  7. He is right though about civilians losing confidence in military leadrship.

    1. They may have less confidence in them, but they aren't blowing them any less.

  8. What would you do if you were in his shoes? Yes, this could all be theater for the masses or... someone has put a gun to his head and threatened to wipe out his entire bloodline if he doesn't "walk back his comments and get back in line." Regardless, we'll never get the whole truth of the matter. Ohio Guy

  9. My cynical view:
    * pretty much everybody on YouTube is a grifter.

Nothing wrong with that, just eyes-open going in.
